Hannah Lassette Ahlers was born on June 2, 1983, in Bellflower, California, to Robert Joseph Magiera and Theresa Lassette Hill. She spent part of her childhood in El Monte before her family moved to Redlands, where her faith and story flourished.
From an early age, her faith in Christ was deeply rooted. She was a loving mother, devoted daughter, cherished friend, and the “cool mom” to many of her friends’ children.
Her life was centered around faith, family, laughter, and the people she loved most.
Hannah is survived by her husband Brian and their three children; her father; her mother and stepfather Frank Hill; brother and sister-in-law Lance and Vicky Miller; sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Adrian Avalos; nieces and nephews; and in-laws Dave and Chris Ahlers, and Pamela and Vern Klatt.

A love story that began young and lasted a lifetime.
Hannah first met Brian Ahlers at a youth group when she was just 10 years old. Six years later, Brian asked his future bride on a date.
After Brian left for school to follow in his father’s footsteps at Redlands Jewelers, he realized he had “one gem in his life he simply couldn’t live without.”
Brian proposed during a Fourth of July celebration. Six months later, on January 21, 2001, Hannah and Brian stood before family and God and said, “I do.” Hannah was just 17 years old.
They went on to share 17 years of marriage and build a life centered around their family. Among all their travels together, Jamaica was Hannah’s absolute favorite vacation — a cherished trip just for the two of them.
“It’s hard to believe that 17 years later she would take her last breath on Earth. But you know, she was proud of those 17 years.”

Her Greatest Joy
Hannah and Brian built a beautiful life together, marked by love, laughter, and devotion. Cherishing her role as a stay-at-home mom, her three children were her entire world — whether it was watching cartoons on quiet mornings, cheering at high school volleyball games, or simple car rides to grab ice cream together.

Fashion, Music & Family Adventures
Hannah had a love for fashion, shopping, and self-care — enjoying manicures, pedicures, and getting her hair styled. But her truest joy was time with her family: boating on the river together every year and attending concerts. While she loved country music, her absolute favorite was 1980s classics like Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time”, which she loved playing while driving.

“Jason Pendleton recalled Hannah once purchasing furniture for the couple’s new home on a whim. Brian came home shocked and called the furniture store to have the items returned. ‘It was one of the very few times I saw Brian say no to Hannah,’ Pendleton recalled with a chuckle.”
